St. Andrew Catholic School staged the 15th annual Dance-A-Thon fundraiser on May 2 — the most successful event to date.  The Dance-A-Thon committee would like to thank everyone connected with this year’s event, which raised a massive $21,500.

The fundraising theme was The Red Carpet. The star-studded event had all students from JK to Grade 8 participate in an hour-long sponsored dance session both for fun, and to raise funds for both curricular and extra curricular items that benefit all students.

Thank you to Laura Austin, committee chair, for her commitment, hard work and enthusiasm. To our principal, Mr. Krar, the Dance-A-Thon committee, teaching and support staff and volunteers that helped make this event so successful. To our student council for your drive and enthusiasm, and all the families and friends who kindly sponsored our students and donated prizes.  

Special thanks also go out to our numerous corporate and business sponsors. Your contributions are invaluable and generosity greatly appreciated as we work to benefit all our students.
