Writing contest for kids
Friday July 25 2008 Willow Breast Cancer Support Canada is seeking entries for the annual My Hero Contest.  The 2008 contest is open to all children across Canada aged eight to 12. Finalists will be eligible to receive one of five prizes, including a national grand prize of $3,000 toward their post-secondary education.  Four prizes of $1,500 each will also be awarded regionally across Canada.  The contest is sponsored by Abraxis BioScience, Canada Inc.
Entries for the contest will be accepted both online and via Canada Post until Aug. 1, 2008.  Mail-in entry forms can be printed off from the contest website.  Winners will be announced at the end of September 2008.
