Festivals
The 58th Canadian Open Old Time Fiddle Championship and Festival runs Aug. 6 to 10 in Shelburne.
The event features fiddle competitions, concerts, parade, midway, market and more.

Heather Katz, who recently performed at the Opera House with her band The Pomelos, as well as with Bill King and The Real Divas at the Orangeville Blues & Jazz Festival, will make an appearance at Season’s on Aug. 8, followed by Matthew Shawn Fleming on Aug. 22.

Theatre Orangeville’s Drama Young Company production of Just This Once Upon A Time runs Aug. 22 to 24.

Century Church Theatre in Hillsburgh presents Who’s On First?, a zany “nightmare” comedy by Jack Sharkey, directed by Nick Holmes.
The show runs Aug. 13 to 23 with a 2:30 p.m. afternoon matinee on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Evening performances take place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 8 p.m.

Until mid-August see Artistry in Flowers, an art show and sale by Kerstin Stinson at the Dufferin County Museum.
The local artist and entrepreneur brings the outdoors in for this unique show and sale of original pressed - dried, flower creations.

Throughout the month of July, Country Pallette Artists will be displaying works in watercolour, acrylic and oil on the main level at Caledon town offices.
The exhibition is free but the artwork is for sale. The artists showing are: Jean Hardy, Theresa Minten, Catharine Barr, Nancy Hardman and Randi Lockhart.
