The club wrapped up its 33rd season April 17. As usual, we had a great time. We would like to thank our host, Dwight Robbins, for his hospitality, allowing us to play at his home for the past several years.

Our league champions and winner of the Merv Wilson Memorial Plaques were the Double Ds, Dave Lund and Don Moffat, who on the last night of regular season play scored 15 out of a possible 16 points to win by a single point. Their 117 points bettered by one the 116 points scored by the Rumrunners, Dwight Robbins and Eric Williams. In third position were the Strikers, Jack McGinty and Bill Watson, with 110 points. Fourth were the Spare Parts, Richard Canning and Terry Nelson, with 98.5 points followed by the Haybalers, Mark Nelson and Ron Williams.

Our playoff champions and winners of the Bill Lovegrove Plaques were the Haybalers with 22.5 points, followed by the Rumrunners with 15. The Spare Parts and Double Ds tied with 14.5 and the Strikers came in with 13.5.

Our playoff most valuable player and winner of the Tanderagee Plaque, donated by the Nelson family, was Mark Nelson. Mark has 11 lone hands in the playoffs. He was followed by Robbins with seven, and McGinty and Lund with six each.

The Mike Williams Plaque for most lone hands during the season went to Robbins, who had 43, followed by Eric Williams with 39 and Mark Nelson with 34.

The Bruce Blenkarn Memorial Trophy, sponsored by Hockley Valley Tree Farms, was won by Robbins, who had a .232 lone hands per game average. In second place was Eric Williams with .208 and third was McGinty with .199.

The player euchred most on lone hand attempts and winner of the Richard Canning Plaque was Mark Nelson with five. Moffat, Robbins and Eric Williams each had four.

The team skunked the most times and winner of the William Brothers Tree Service Plaques was the Strikers with five. Tied for second with three were Spare Parts and Double Ds.

We would like to thank our spares who played on several occasions and baled us out of some tough spots. They were Jim Hearder, Chris Watson, Greg Hines and Dennis Carson.
