This is an opportunity to register with teams, sign up for lessons, or join a local club or group. Dufferin County Chapter of Ducks Unlimited Canada is hosting its first annual Sportsmen’s Dinner and Charity Auction in the community room at the Orangeville Fairgrounds. Doors open at 5 p.m. for no-host cocktails and auction item viewing. Dinner is at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $75 per couple, $40 per person or sponsor packages of $250 are also available. Rally Sunday at Knox Caledon United Church, Highway 10 and Charleston Sideroad, Caledon Village, 11 a.m. Music by steel drum band Panache, special children’s program (children are asked to bring school backpacks), and a potluck lunch will follow service.

The Dufferin County Law Enforcement Golf Tournament takes place at the Shelburne Golf Club on Hwy. 24.
