Something’s cooking at the public library

Anita Stewart, cookbook author, culinary activist and correspondent to CBC Radio One’s Fresh Air, will be stopping by at the Orangeville Public Library on Monday, Oct. 6.

As the author of Anita Stewart’s Canada, Flavours of Canada: A Collection of the Finest Regional Foods and many other cookbooks and books of culinary history, her passion is unearthing and defining Canadian cuisine.

Just in time for Thanksgiving, she will be sharing her discoveries with local residents.

The workshop takes place at 7 p.m. in the Mill St. meeting room at the library. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.

Copies of Stewart’s books will be available for signing and purchase. Refreshments will be served, although sadly they will not be made by Stewart.

Phone 519-940-0412 for more information.
