Orangeville & District Horticultural Society meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. at Orangeville Seniors Centre. Judith Rogers of Innisfil will speak on creating a residential wildlife habitat. Visitors are welcome.

Town of Mono’s annual Tree Chipping Winterfest takes place at the Mono Community Centre from noon until 4 p.m. Bring your Christmas tree to be chipped. There will also be horse drawn sleigh rides, ice skating, tobogganing and much more. Contact: 519-941-3599, email sslack@trebnet.com.

Family Transition Place offers support for sexual assault and woman abuse survivors and their children. FTP also provides information, support and referral for friends, family and coworkers looking for ways to support survivors and prevent family violence.
Services include: emergency shelter, housing, transitional/legal support, individual/group counselling, community workshops and violence prevention presentations.
